2019

The Midnight Troops were founded on May 20, 2019 by Midnight and Emucatlul. They merged their armies; The Vikings and the Classy Penguins and created the Midnight Troops. On June 6, 2019. The Midnight Troops decided to declare their first war on the Pizza Clan. The Pizza Clan had been talking bad about them. The first battle started as a raid and lasted 5 hours until the Pizza Clan logged off. After a couple more battles, the Pizza Clan had decided to forfeit war and were tired. The Midnight Troops won their first war. A few weeks leader, sum2mit, the creator of the Penguin Defence Force approached Midnight to merge his army. Midnight accepted and the first generation of the Midnight Troops came to an end.

2020

In late September of 2020, Agent7979 decided to bring back the Midnight Troops and had support from Midnight. Midnight searched for leaders and staff who could help him. The Midnight Troops took off and maxed 10 at their revival event. A couple events later, the army failed to get 5 troops at an events. The leader decided to cancel the event. CPMaster who was a leader disagreed and continued pinging to log on while the other leaders were fighting back to log off. CPMaster was banned from the server and fired from the Midnight Troops. He had been lying to leaders, soldiers and friends for attention wanting a post on the Club Penguin Army Hub, he faked he was dying. For that he was added to the Hall of Shame. Leaders and Staff left the army after that event. The Midnight Troops started maxing sizes around 5 and later merged into the Shadow Troops and Island Invaders. (Skateboarders merge was invalid).
